We love experimenting with different recipes, and this one is a must-try! Our Gut-Friendly Vanilla & Cinnamon Porridge is both fulfilling and nutritious ~ recreate it yourself with our recipe below.
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 160g rolled porridge oats
- 600 ml milk, almond milk or water
- 4 tsp Frank Simple Gut Restore Prebiotic Collagen
- 1 ripe pear, sliced
- Flaked almonds
- Couple of pinches of cinnamon
Method
- Place the oats and the milk/ water in a large pan over a medium heat. Add a tiny pinch of sea salt and stir with a wooden spoon.
- Bring to a steady simmer for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring as often as you can to give you a smooth creamy porridge.
- Add Gut Restore Collagen Powder and mix well until you have your preferred consistency.
- To top: add sliced pear, almonds, a few pinches of cinnamon & a drizzle of honey.
